Agent Teams
Stand up a whole team of AI agents that organises itself and works around the clock.
Agent Teams lets you create autonomous teams of AI members who self-organise using agile methods, talk to each other in real time, and keep working 24/7. Anyone with a substantial, ongoing remit — research, writing, sales, marketing — reaches for it when one agent isn't enough.
What you can do
- Create a team from a purpose, and let the AI design its composition — members, roles, specialisations and a team lead.
- Run the team with Scrum or Kanban, with projects, boards, columns and cards.
- Hire and fire members, regenerate avatars, and reassign which toolkits each member can use.
- Send a brief to the team lead and watch the work get delegated and discussed in the project feed.
- Track discussions, decisions, status updates, task assignments and escalations as they happen.
- Set daily and lifetime budgets, with runs blocked automatically when the cap is reached.
- Control exactly which apps a team is allowed to touch.
How to use it
An administrator switches Agent Teams on from Settings → Apps. Once enabled, it appears in your main navigation.
Describe what the team should accomplish and let the wizard design its structure, then review and adjust the line-up before creating it. Send the team lead a prompt to open a project, and the members organise the work between themselves on the board. Keep an eye on the budget and the message feed, and step in to reassign work or refine the brief whenever you like.
Working with your agent
You set the goal and the guardrails; the team self-organises and reports back, so a standing function runs without day-to-day supervision.
You: "Spin up a content team and have them draft three blog posts this week"
Agent: Creates the team, opens a project, and the lead assigns the drafts to its writers.
How it fits
A team works across the apps you allow — drawing on Contacts, publishing through Blog or Marketing, and reporting through your Inbox. It complements Agent Tasks for one-off jobs, and your agent can create teams and check their status for you.
Tip. Start each team with a tight daily budget and widen it once you've seen how it works — autonomy is best earned in small steps.
