Your full Sois workspace as a native app for macOS and Windows — with a few things a browser tab simply cannot do. The desktop app is the complete workspace you already know, in a focused window of its own, plus a built-in web browser your agent can drive.

What it is

The desktop app is the Sois workspace running as a proper application on your computer, rather than a tab among many. Everything you do in a browser you do here — boards, tables, inbox, documents, accounting, settings, every installed app — at full size and full capability. It is the right home for deep, sit-down work.

Because it is a native app, it can connect to your workspace, adopt your branding, and stay quietly running so notifications reach you even when the window is in the background.

What you can do

  • Run the whole workspace, natively. The full visual interface — not a cut-down version — in a dedicated window separate from your browsing.
  • Drive a real web browser with your agent. The desktop app includes an embedded Agent Web Browser module: your agent can open pages, read them and act on them inside the app, so web research and lookups happen in one place.
  • Connect to any workspace. On first launch you connect to your workspace — any sector or tenant — then sign in with email and password, a passkey, or Google / single sign-on. Your workspace branding loads once connected.
  • Get notified, even when unfocused. Real-time alerts surface as native notifications, so nothing waits for you to check a tab.
  • Stay current automatically. The app updates itself, so you are always on the latest version.

How to install it

Download the installer for your platform and run it: macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) or Windows. On first run, connect your workspace, sign in, and you are in. Updates arrive automatically thereafter.

How it differs from the mobile app and browser

  • Desktop app — sit and work. Full workspace, the embedded Agent Browser, native notifications, its own window. Best for focused sessions at a desk.
  • Mobile app — ask and go. Voice-first and call-handling, built for when your hands are busy.
  • Browser — anywhere, nothing to install. The same workspace in any modern browser, ideal on a shared or borrowed machine.

It is one workspace and one set of data behind all three. The desktop app simply adds the conveniences only a native application can offer.
