Getting started

From a fresh workspace to getting real work done — in a few minutes. This is the short path: sign in, meet your workspace, connect your agent, and run your first task.

Your workspace, your agent, your operations — one place


1. Sign in to your workspace

Your workspace lives at your own address — yourcompany.sois.ai, or your network's branded domain. Open it in any browser and sign in with the credentials your administrator created for you. The first time you arrive, you land on your home dashboard with the navigation rail on the left and the top bar — search, notifications, and the ? help button — across the top.

If you do not have a workspace yet, your network operator creates one for you. Each workspace is fully isolated: your data is yours alone.


2. Find your way around

Sois is an agent-native ERP, so there are two ways to get anything done — tell your agent, or do it yourself on screen. Both reach the same place.

  • The navigation rail on the left lists the parts of your business that are switched on — contacts, inbox, calendar, documents, accounting, and any apps your operator has installed.
  • The command palette (press ⌘K / Ctrl+K) jumps to anything — a record, a setting, an action — without hunting through menus.
  • The chat panel is where you talk to your workspace agent in plain language.
  • The ? help button, top-right, is this documentation, getting-started guides, training, and a way to send feedback — exactly where you are now.

You never have to learn where every button lives. If you can describe what you want, your agent finds it.


3. Connect your agent

This is the part that makes Sois different. You do not have to work in the app — you can have the AI agent you already use do the work through it.

Your workspace is a full MCP server: every tool a person can use, an agent can use too. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP-capable client, and it can read context and act across your operations on your behalf.

Agent:  Done. Contact created and linked to Northwind, and a follow-up draft
        is waiting in your inbox referencing quote Q-1043.

4. Run your first task

Pick something small and real. A few good first tasks:

  • Add a contact and a note about them.
  • Create a task and assign it to yourself or a teammate.
  • Open your inbox and reply to a message.
  • Ask your agent to summarise what is on your calendar this week.

Do it on screen if you like clicking, or just ask your agent. Either way the result is the same record, in the same place, visible to everyone who should see it.


5. Switch on what you need

Sois starts lean and grows with you. Everything beyond the core — accounting, warehouse, marketing, a dialer, a customer portal — is an app you install when you need it. Your administrator manages which apps are switched on from Settings → Apps.

The one thing to remember. You describe the outcome; Sois delivers it. Screens are there when you want them, never because the work demands it.
