Google Meet
Add a Google Meet link to any calendar event in one click.
Google Meet connects your Google account to Sois so you can create video meeting links without leaving your workspace. Anyone who books calls reaches for it when an event needs a join link.
What you can do
- Connect your Google account securely so Sois can create Meet links on your behalf.
- Create a Google Meet link straight from a calendar event or for an ad-hoc call.
- Set a meeting topic, start time and end time when you create the link.
- See the join URL added to your event ready to share with attendees.
- Manage your connected Google accounts and disconnect any you no longer use.
How to use it
An administrator switches Google Meet on from Settings → Apps. Once enabled, connect your Google account from the Google Meet area — you'll be sent to Google to authorise access, then returned to Sois.
With an account connected, adding a video link to a meeting is a single action: give the event a topic and times, and Sois creates the Google Meet and drops the join URL into the event. Share it with attendees just as you would any other meeting detail. If you ever need to revoke access, disconnect the account and no further links can be created with it.
Working with your agent
Ask your agent to set up a call and it creates the Google Meet and hands back the link, ready to put on an event or send round.
You: "Create a Google Meet link for the design review on Friday morning"
Agent: Creates the Google Meet and returns the join URL for the event.
How it fits
Google Meet plugs into your calendar so events carry a ready-made join link, and your agent can create that link on request. It sits alongside the other meeting integrations — Zoom and Microsoft Teams — so each person can use the platform they prefer.
Tip. Connect your Google account once and every future event can carry a Meet link in a single step — no copying URLs across by hand.
