Slack
Connect Slack once and your agent reads, searches and posts where your team already talks.
Slack links your Slack workspaces to Sois through a single secure connection. Admins reach for it so the whole team benefits — no per-person Slack login required.
What you can do
- Connect one or more Slack workspaces with a single sign-in.
- Let your agent read channels, fetch the latest messages and search message history.
- Find members and map Slack people to Sois users so mentions reach the right person.
- Post messages, documents, flights and travel plans straight into a channel from anywhere in Sois.
- Mention the agent inside Slack to run Sois actions and get answers in the thread.
- Save Slack files into your Files workspace.
How to use it
An admin switches Slack on from Settings → Apps, then connects a workspace with one sign-in. Connecting auto-configures a managed link so your agent discovers Slack tools automatically — there is nothing to wire up by hand.
After connecting, map your Slack members to Sois users (or auto-match by email) so mentions resolve correctly. From then on, anyone on the team can ask the agent about Slack or push work into a channel, and the agent acts on the organisation's behalf rather than as any one person.
Working with your agent
Slack becomes a place your agent can both listen to and act in: ask what is happening, pull context, or send an update into a channel. Posting is always confirmed with you first.
You: "What's the latest in #travel, and post the approved itinerary there?"
Agent: Summarises the recent #travel messages and shares the itinerary card to the channel.
How it fits
Slack maps members to your team and Contacts, and shares records like documents and flights from across Sois. It is a clean example of Connect your agent in action, and works well beside Notifications for keeping the team in the loop.
Tip. Run auto-match by email once after connecting — it links most of your team to their Slack accounts in a single step.
